With a strong field of riders including consistent DH podium finisher Curtis Keene who was second on the day and top Super D rider Waylon Smith in third. This was Joe Lawwill’s first Fontana Super D race aboard a fully Shimano equipped bike and also his first win of the year. Joe Lawwill noted “I want to give a special shout out to WTB for making awesome tires that even felt good in the slippery Fontana dry hard pack."Joe was running the WTB Bronson 2.3 AM TCS tire up front and the Wolverine 2.2 AM TCS on the rear.
