Don't miss San Francisco's first legal Mountain Bike Race at McLaren Park on September 7th, 2013.
The SF Mountain Bike Festival, hosted in McLaren Park, is a fundraiser for the McLaren Bike Park project. The event is FREE to attend and will include:
Youth/Family MTB Loop
Bike Repair Clinics
A 12-Mile Urban Adventure MTB Loop (Beginner - Intermediate Level)
Professional Bike Jump Demo
The fundraising event is the McLaren Short Track Challenge, a competitive mountain bike race on an urban Cross Country (XC) course. The XC Race is being managed by the experts at Bike Monkey and does require a waiver and registration fee to participate.
Cost is $25 Beginner and $45 for Sport, Expert, and Elite with all proceeds going to the McLaren Bike Park project.
The Staging Area in McLaren Park offers a huge picnic area, stunning views, and will have Food Trucks, Industry Vendors, and other fun stuff on hand.
If you are an avid mountain biker, or just hitting the trails... than this is your chance to check out an urban gem!
The event goes from 9am-5pm on Saturday, September 7th, 2013. The official address is 20 John F Shelley Drive San Francisco, CA. 94134.
A huge thank you to SF Urban Riders and our friends at Bike Monkey for making it happen. Check out the event website for more details.
