I chose to run a Vigilante 2.3 (24psi) for my front tyre at the Sea Otter Classic dual slalom. There were some off camber corners at the top and flat corners at the bottom where for both you wanted to have a good amount of grip on the front to be able to corner fast and confidently on the loose over hardpack dirt, and make every second count!
For the rear tyre I opted for the Riddler 2.4 (28psi) in order to have fast rolling speed but still some grip in the corners when it came to it. There was very little chance of punctures on the course which is why I chose the light casing option for both tyres, as well as to keep the weight down.
Even though there wasn’t much sitting down during racing I ran the Koda Saddle for the pedaling back to the top, and that is the saddle I know and run on my other bikes too.
Martha had a great weekend at the Sea Otter Classic with podium finishes (3rd & 4th) in both DH & Enduro.
