WTB at Fort Bill!

Fort William World Cup is one of the most physical downhill races of the year. It's the venue that draws the biggest crowds and boasts a track that's had a solid place on the UCI World Cup calendar since 2002.
With riders from Atherton Bikes, Pivot Factory Racing, and Commencal Vallnord by Riding Addiction all running High Tail saddles, WTB were well represented on the biggest stage.
A nail biting run saw Rachel Atherton racing neck and neck with Tracy Hannah. They traded the lead all the way down the 2.6km course, but in the end Rachel managed to hang on to her advantage on the motorway section to take her first World Cup win of the season.
With strong winds and high speed speed racing, many riders adopted the classic aero tuck position through the jumps into the finish arena
Rachel's victory also marked the first World Cup win on the newly launch Atherton Bikes downhill machine.
Mille Johnset didn't stop smiling all weekend as she rode to 3rd in the junior women's category.
Amaury Pierron from Commencal Vallnord showed his strength and consistancy as he took the top spot in elite men for the 2nd year running
Thibaut Daprela shaved five seconds off his qualifying time to take the junior men victory. Thats two from two for the young Frenchman.
Myriam Nicole is still recovering from an injury in training before round 1 in Maribor, but that didn't stop making the journey from France to cheer for her team mates at Fort William
The unpredictable conditions pushed the riders and their equipment to the limits  over the weekend
You can always count on the crew from Pivot Factory Racing to put on a show. With Ed Masters and Bernard Kerr grabbing 10th and 11th in Elite men, they racked up some valuable points while still giving the crowd what they wanted...
We are so stoked to be supporting such a talented group of athletes. After a big clean up the show moves to Leogang in Austria this weekend, so we wish the absolute best of luck to all our girls and guys!
