The California Enduro Series started off this past weekend with the Toro Enduro at Toro Park in Salinas, CA. Rain showers passed through the night before resulting in perfect dirt conditions for the race and cool temperatures on the day. Common word among riders was - "I should have went faster through the corners". Clearly a conclusion drawn from the added traction of the day versus the usual dry & dusty conditions that Toro is more known for.

The WTB support tent was well positioned to help racers with mechanicals, replacement parts or hospitality. Stop in when you see us at an event!

WTB tires were all over. The bikes pictured here were running Vigilantes up front and Trail Boss / Breakout on the back.

Riders gathered around the live timing screen to check standings.

Essence Florie Barton of the Ibis US Enduro Team on her way to a Stage 4 win with a time of 2:30.273.

Evan Geankoplis of the Ibis US Enduro Team standing on top of the Pro Men's podium. Good racing, Evan! Full Results.

Essence Florie Barton takes the win in Pro Women - which makes two pro class W's for WTB tires. Congratulations, Essence! Full Results.
